Kenny Britt Pays Tribute to Vince Young Against Colts

Kenny Britt’s return to the Titans lineup was rather unspectacular from a performance standpoint. In his first game back from a hamstring injury, Britt caught four balls for 39 yards. He also fumbled and dropped a pass.

But what people are talking about this morning isn’t Britt’s play, but Britt’s attire. For the first half of the game, Britt wore a towel reading “#10 VY,” an homage to embattled quarterback Vince Young, who is out for the season with a finger injury after a highly publicized falling out with coach Jeff Fisher.

It’s unknown whether Young will be back as Titans quarterback next season.

Britt, who wore a clean towel in the second half of the game, didn’t speak with reporters afterward. But the towel technically constitutes a violation of the NFL’s uniform policy, meaning Britt can expect a fine from the league.
